Looking
ahead at a group in front of us. Each person had their own
cart and driver/caddy.
|
Of
course I had a caddy and a driver! Teresa was behind the wheel!
(And only slightly safer a driver than Mike!)

Here
is a shot of our room, upgraded to the Executive Suite. I
liked the nautical interior theme.

Looking
out our balcony at the bay. It would be easy to get used to
this kind of life.
|
On
another day we took one of the water taxi's out to the island
called "Koh Ro". Koh mean island in Thai.

Mike's
friend Risa accompanied us. She and her friend Miss B own
their own tour company. Teresa and I really liked these two
ladies. Very nice, very professional. I definaetly reccomend
them to arrange your golf and other vacation excursions in
the Pattaya area.

Every
day the skies of the bay were filled with para-sailers.

Boat
rides are fun. The sun and wind...
|
I
was enjoying myself too. Notice the tan on the outside of
my arms...:)

Going
around the front of Koh Ro
|
And
landing on the back side. We rented a few chairs and snorkeling
gear for a couple of dollars. For the whole day!
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Later
we snorkeled out past the boats in the distance. There was
decent coral and sea life about a hundred feet out, where
the depth was about 50 feet.
|
But
we also spent a good amount of time snorkeling in the protected
swimming area. We would toss coins out and then hunt for them.
Or hide them under rocks. We did lose a couple of coins that
way tho. But still, it was fun!

|
Still
on our honey moon! The prettiest woman in the world!
|
We
tried to keep from getting too much sun, but near the end
of our trip we did get a bit too much on a snorkeling day.

|
Mike
got all tired out, and didn't even make it back to his chair
in the shade...
|
A
monkey came down from the jungle and camped out on a tree
a ways down from us. He raided a garbage can and had a bit
of a snack.

In
Cambodia it was Tuk Tuk's. In Pattaya it was "Baht Buses".
These are open backed trucks, that you climb into the back
of. They drive in big circles around the beach area. You hit
a buzzer when you want to get off. A dollar a person is the
fair for tourists. There are hundreds of these all the time
circling. Very easy to use.

Relaxing
and reading on our "tiny" balcony, at sunset.
|
We
had a good time visiting both Cambodia and Thailand, but it
was time for us to return to work. Teresa had accounting issues
waiting for her, and we are now into our Federal End Of Year
closeout at work as well.N
